Written from the inside - as a Swedish Institute scholar and a woman in STEM who went from Hanoi to Gothenburg. Grown to millions of organic views with no paid promotion.
Why I started it
Applying for a Swedish Institute scholarship from Vietnam meant piecing together advice from scattered forum posts and outdated blogs - 52 people were selected from 8,500 applicants, and almost none of them wrote down how. I started documenting my own process in public: partly as a record, partly because the same questions kept arriving in my inbox. The channel now covers the whole arc I actually lived - winning a fully funded scholarship, landing in the Nordics, and turning a product career into one that travels across borders.
How I run it
Same loop I use at work: watch what audiences actually ask, prioritise by reach and effort, ship, read the numbers, repeat. Threads carries long-form questions and discussion; TikTok carries the visual, first-week-in-Sweden material.
